When establishing company in Japan, it is necessary to register corporate seals to the Legal Affairs Bureau. You can confirm the registered Corporate Seal by a “Certificate of Corporate Seal” which can be acquired by “Corporate Seal Card” issued when the company is established (or sometimes moves its head office). This corporate seal is affixed to some important documents (e.g., when opening company’s bank account) and it is sometimes required to submit the certificate of corporate seal along with such documents.
